The Porter Prize Winners of 2019

The top executives of the winning companies will be interviewed by Professor Ken Kusunoki of Hitotsubashi ICS (Hitotsubashi University Business School) during the Conference on Competitiveness 2019, to be held on December 5, starting at 13:00. The conference venue is Hitotsubashi Hall (2-1-2 Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

 

At the conference, Professor Michael E. Porter of Harvard Business School, who is the Honorary Senior Advisor to the Porter Prize, will make a speech, entitled, "How CEOs Manage Their Time." This will be followed by a panel discussion with Mr. Hiroshi Aoi, President/Rep. Dir./Rep. Executive Officer of the Marui Group (a winner of the Porter Prize 2016) and Mr. Kohey Takashima, Rep. Dir./CEO of Oisix ra daichi (a winner of the Porter Prize 2008).

 

The reports explaining the selection rationale and the competitive strategies of this year's winners will be posted on the Porter Prize website on December 5, 2019.
